I specialize in visual identities, branding, marketing, communications, project management, editorial design, graphic design, web design, and video production. All of my work involves use of the creative arts partnered with rigorous social research to inform communications and marketing strategies. My skills are versatile and help my clients’ visions come to life while effectively informing and engaging their audiences and strengthening relationships with their consumers.
I am an artist with a Masters in Sociology and Liberal Arts Education, and an undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Virginia Tech. I am a survivor of the April 16, 2007 Virginia Tech massacre #livefor32. I am originally from Argentina, from which my parents fled for political reasons and emigrated to the US in the 1980s.
I am the lead artist and founder of CME Graphic Design, based in Ithaca, NY, as well as lead artist and co-founder of Devil’s Rejects Apparel, based in Edison, NJ. I am currently employed by Cornell University where I enhanced and expanded the brand of a small Center – making it visible to large granting institutions and helping it secure the largest social science grant in Cornell’s history.
